HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS
Inhalation: Inhaling deeply is smelling and when we smell we smell with our brains triggering effects. As we smell, we contact the limbic system where the oil triggers an effect which in turn communicates to the nervous system. The odor molecules come into direct contact with the brain through the olfactory receptors, where scent receptors receive, interpret and transmit the messages these chemical signals offer to various parts of the body. Each essential oil recipe has been formulated to communicate what ever is needed. Once you smell, it happens so fast that before we are aware we have smelled something our brain and body have already reacted to it.

Alternatively you can apply a couple drops of essential oil to your finger tips and inhale deeply. Many people also apply a few drops onto a cotton ball to keep in your pocket and inhale throughout the day or as cravings or feelings arise. Our recommendations are to carry the essential oil in your pocket or purse and use as needed.

You can also add a few drops to a diffuser so the aroma is constantly being diffused into the air.

You can also combine with our mists and mist onto your skin, air, car, pillows, or home as needed. Working with essential oils with intention will improve the way you feel and act everyday.

Topical application: Our skin is our largest organ and things we apply to it get absorbed by our bodies and pass through our bloodstream. Applying essential oils topically is a beautiful way to receive their benefits and properties. You can also use 15 drops of essential oils to one ounce of your favorite moisturizer or into a carrier oil such as jojoba, avocado or apricot kernel oil and massage onto clean, damp skin.

Diffuser: Add a few drops of essential oil into the water and diffuse the medicinal aromas around your space. You can use a diffusor in your room to help sleep or reduce stress. the combinations are endless.
